The Classics

The Classics Milan
The Classics Dominic Kirk
The Classics Harry Sutherland

Sydney based soul covers outfit ‘The Classics’ add a young and fresh perspective to timeless hits and a classic take on the newest pop sensations. The trio combines their love for hip hop and jazz with soul and pop tunes. Fronted by songstress Milan, known for her sultry vocals and electrifying guitar work, she seamlessly swaps between song, rap and guitar, having the listener mesmerised and all the while creating a fun, intimate and relaxed environment. On Drums/Percussion Dominic Kirk brings in elements of his Latin influences, having toured and worked with some of the best in his field, and on Keys/Synth/Bass Harry Sutherland subtly references jazz and electro sounds.

The Classics members have performed all around Australia at the most prestigious venues for different festivals*, corporate, charity and media events** as well as sharing a long list of international stages***. You can catch them alongside Sydney’s beautiful Harbour, creating an effortlessly classy and relaxed ambience on a lazy Sunday afternoon, or turning up the heat and having the room shaking like a polaroid picture on a Friday night! Needless to say ‘The Classics’ are versatile and incredibly experienced. They expand from a trio into and upwards of a 6 piece band – adding backing vocalists and extra instrumentalists to really pump up the jam!
