Nick Garbett

 

Nick Garbett has established himself as one of Australia’s rising star trumpeters. Having studied Jazz at the Sydney Conservatorium, he completed his Bachelor of Music in 2003, and has since made several trips to New York and South America to continue his musical study.

Nick is a regular member of the Colombian Afro Rock & Roots band Watussi, and has toured extensively in both Australia and Internationally. He has also been featured in the Mike Nock Group, and is a composer/performer with both the Vampires and the Sydney based Reggae/Afrobeat band The Strides.

Nick teaches trumpet and jazz studies at Wollongong Conservatorium of Music.

Whilst touring the country with the Ministry Club Nation and Ministry Annual Steve has supported some of the world’s best internationals acts.

DJ GABBY has cemented her place within Sydney’s elite, with residencies and guest appearances at some of the most esteemed club nights in Sydney; Including Ear Candy@YU, KINK@the arthouse, KINK @Oxford Art Factory, KINK @ Nevermind, Sounds on Sunday, HOOPS, Kit n Kaboodle, The Cross and SMUT @ LadyLux.

Her style is sonically diverse – a palpable fusion of disco, house and electronica, and it is this unique ability to transcend genre within her sets that has allowed for her to play alongside a very diverse group of artists from Australia and overseas.

Vocalist Natalie Conway has been at the forefront of the Sydney music scene since 2005. She has excelled in dance and music coming from the soul, Jazz and RnB scene before being scouted by the QCE team in late 2008.

Natalie has a beautiful sultry voice that exudes style. Her stage presence and charisma will astound. Natalie lives for music and has been very busy in the studio of late. In addition to working on her own original album Natalie has been a featured vocalist on up and coming House/Soul DJ’s original releases.

Natalie has co-written and recorded several tracks with renowned Pop/RnB/Dance Producers Michael Szumowski (Bardot, Guy Sebastian, Disco Montego, Candice Alley), Michael Darcy (Bardot, Kylie, Scott Cain), Sven Tydeman (Robyn Loau, Brielle Davis) and Amba Shepard (Jessica Mauboy, Paulini, Slinkee Minx and Anthony Callea). Recently she has teamed up with Sonny Fodera to produce a hit on the worlds biggest house label Defected. Natalie Conway is a featured vocalist in La Fiesta Sound
