Micci Baranov

 

Micci has been the live vocalist for DJ duo, Peking Duk since 2017 which has had her touring the world singing in clubs, auditoriums, stadiums and headlining the most renowned festivals and events. Prior to this gig, Micci completed a world tour as the live vocalist for DJ duo, Flight Facilities.

Her experience and love for performing live goes back to when she was just a little girl, starting out in choirs, writing and recording her first album at 13, then fleeing overseas when she graduated high school to find opportunities. Her performing history expands from busking in France, to house parties at Cannes Film Festival, a club residency in the Greek Islands (acoustic live set at Circus Bar, Ios), the official songstress of the Waldorf Astoria, Palm Jumeriah (Dubai) and the X factor Australia experience in 2015 where she came 7th in the competition.

For many years, Micci has written for and featured on dance releases by other artists and just recently she has started a new chapter by releasing her own solo material.

Inspired by the soundtrack of one of her favourite movies Drive – giving her music a nostalgic, 80’s feel, with heartfelt lyrics, sing-along melodies and an energy that takes your mind to a summer festival.

Micci’s music is a reflection of her passion for creating, her desire to connect and her enthusiasm for life.

Meadows is a Sydney-based multi-instrumental composer and harpist. Meadows creates a unique offering of stunning production mixed with his inherent ability to improvise and adapt with his modern approach of one of humanity?s oldest instruments: the harp.

He is a frequent collaborator with many well-known Australian acts such as Daniel Johns, Vera Blue, Thelma Plum, DREAMS, Eves Karydas, among others, and featured as part of Daniel Johns’ Vivid LIVE renowned Vivid live performances

Meadows was first introduced to the harp by his father and the instrument fast became the soundtrack to his childhood.
A working musician by age 16, Meadows spent his latter teens years touring the east coast of Australia supporting acts like Midnight Oil, Billy Thorpe, Ganggajang, Christine Anu, The Radiators and Choir Boys.
He began incorporating the harp into his work a few years later, creating music with bands he co-founded and as a session and touring musician.

Meadows began exploring the textures and technology of electronic music, incorporating it into many residencies he held in Sydney’s Kings Cross over the course of 10 years and became a go-to composer for the Australian fashion world, creating original music and soundtracks for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, Bulgari, David Jones, Ritz Carlton, Bang & Olufsen, Ferrari and many others.

Meadows is a frequent collaborator with Daniel Johns and session musician with Luke Steele, Thelma Plum, Vera Blue, Paul Mac, and more.
In 2019, Meadows worked with Chris Townend to create Siloam – the largest multichannel sound-based artwork in the world, staged at MONA in Hobart.

It is clear he is a collector of sound –  Stamping a solid international reputation with his modern approach to Harp his inherent ability to improvise and adapt is a central tenet of his sound; a sound which he has crafted over the course of the last 20 years experimenting with the ethereal sounds and vibrations of one of humanity?s oldest instruments: the harp. The harp, with its many strings, produces wide-ranging vibrations ,and harmonics that resonate ,among the vast ,and complex ,array of cellular vibrations in the human body and mind. entering our central nervous systems, our bones ,and muscles, even our skin.

Buddy’s voice is like an instrument it self, from soulful tones to edgy rock and reggae rasta and Shaggy all in one.Together they govern the band Gang of Brothers which in reality that’s what this is in duo format.

Gerard Masters

 

Gerard Masters grew up studying music in New Zealand and now resides in Australia where he makes music with some of the best acts in the country. Gerard is consistently involved with many high end jazz and pop groups including Missy Higgins, The Potbelleez, James Morrison, Pete Murray, The McClymonts to name a few.

Gerard also performs under his own name and has a range of different aspects and capabilities which are featured throughout his performances. As a singer, Gerard has a wide ranging repertoire of original songs and covers songs from artists as diverse as Ray Charles, Daft Punk or Frank Sinatra. A good song is a good song!

Gerard has a degree in music from The Sydney Conservatorium, where he specialised in Jazz Piano performance and composition.

Kyrah

Kyrah

 

Kyrah, who also goes by the artist name RAYN is an Australian born, multi-instrumentalist/DJ/songwriter who oozes soul and sweet buttery tones. Living and breathing music, Kyrah considers music to be a huge part of who she is as a woman.

Kyrah has been a full-time musician for over 10 years, performing all over Australia, Thailand and the U.K. In 2011 she appeared as a finalist on X factor, travelling to L.A. as part of the home visit stage. From there she has performed at major events across Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne including supporting Australian artists like Jessica Mauboy, and Timomatic. She has performed for brands such Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, ANZ bank, The Waratahs, The Australian Hotels association, Crown group, JLL, We Work and many more.

In 2018 Kyrah moved to London to pursue her music career. While performing at Momo’s in Soho, Kyrah was introduced to Mark “Return of the Mack” Morrison who showed interest in her debut EP ‘Serotonin’. The first single ‘OMM’ was released in October 2019 and went on to have great success on Triple J unearthed and BBC introducing in the UK. ‘Serotonin’ has had over 300,000 streams to date.

Kyrah’s dedication and natural talent is a rare combination in the creative industry. As one of the very few female soloists performing in Sydney, Kyrah is sought after and is often booked for weddings, corporate events and private parties. She brings her unique swag and personal arrangements to well know songs, creating a vibe whenever she performs.

Ellis is a 23 -year-old Australian who moved here with his family when he was 3 years old.

Growing up in Sydney Australia’s, Northern Beaches, Ellis’ music influence comes from R&B, soul and singer songwriters such as Ed Sheeran, John Mayer, Cold Play, Stevie Wonder and The 1975. Adding to this, Ellis has grown up with a family that taught him the joy of music. Ellis’s first live concert was the music legends, Steely Dan.

Ellis was fortunate enough to go backstage and meet Ed Sheeran – Ed inspired Ellis to learn guitar and to do what he loves – music.

Ellis has had the experience of being on 3 reality TV music shows including X-factor, finishing in the top 10.

Ellis studied vocals and guitar at The Australian Institute of Music (AIM).

Ellis is full time musician performing weekly at many hotels, corporate and special events.

Ellis’ largest live performance to date was for 10,000.

Ellis was a guest vocalist at 2018 Byron Bay’s Bluesfest appearing on all 4 main stages.

Ellis is lead singer for the band Loretta, their single ‘Come Over’ has been streamed over 1,200,000 times.

Onstage, Ellis has an electric energy rarely seen in the industry!
