Kaleidoscope Dream is an 8-piece interactive experience for your crowd, with seasoned professional Adam Katz on lead vocals (and freestyle raps), and Nada Leigh (The Voice) on flawless R&B vocals. Playing all your favourite current R&B, Pop, Soul and Hip-Hop mixed with freshly arranged hits from the late 90’s and naughties, there shall be no cheese found here. Katz, coming from a strong DJ background has the secret sauce to getting a crowd dancing and says “We love playing the bangers that get dance floors pumping, but also love to break it down and improvise a verse, there and then, about whatever’s going on around us or maybe even about the front row of the audience! It’s about tailoring each show to that audience, and responding to what they want, not just playing the same songs they’ve heard at every other event.”

With a repertoire of over 400 songs, you will hear Whitney diva vocals, see Backstreet Boys dance breaks, Eminem freestyle raps and new music like Cardi B and Post Malone. Steering away from the over-played setlists at most corporate events, KD brings a fresh and new feeling to any affair.

Members of KD have played with a host of international headline acts from Taylor Swift and Katy Perry to Michael Bublé and Ricky Martin, as well as at major festivals including Splendour in the Grass and Glastonbury Festival, and at an impressive list of corporate events for clients such as Google, Virgin Blue, Adidas, 2dayFM & Coca Cola.

Jeremy Gregory

With powerhouse vocals once described as ‘one of the best voices ever heard’ by music mogul and Grammywinning producer/rapper Dr Dre, accompanied with impeccable stage presence, Jeremy Gregory is a born entertainer with the ability to captivate audiences from the first note on.

Born in Durban, South Africa, Jeremy’s introduction to the diverse world of contemporary music didn’t begin until his early teens. With nothing but heavy gospel influence in his house, he started listening to bands like Boys II Men and Jodeci, and realised that pop music could also be really passionate and that opened a lot of doors.

He soon discovered Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, Sly & the Family Stone and many other great soul, urban blues, R&B and pop artists dating all the way back to the 50?s.

In 2004, Jeremy signed a record deal with Warner Bros Records and produced a self-composed hit, That’s What’s Going Down – and earned its footing on the Australian Top 40?s singles charts for three full weeks.

That song went on to make more waves in the industry, which eventually led to APRA & ARIA awards’ nominations in 2003 and 2004 respectively. APRA and ARIA are both prestigious determinants in Australia’s music accreditation and artiste recognition.

Jeremy has worked with many prolific R&B/Hip-Hop artistes the likes of Macy Gray, Babyface, and British Pop Idol Will Young, all but to name a few. Not a force to be reckoned with, he has been globetrotting, from United States to Australia to Indonesia to Singapore. Don’t hold your breath, for he is not stopping anytime soon.

DJ Trey

Taking up Dj’ing from the age of 14, Ashley Heuvel aka Dj Trey has always dug the roots of R&B and Hip-Hop which he discovered through his Uncle’s record collection. His respect for where music has come from, and how it got to where it is now, has always shown him to be beyond his years!

His diverse repertoire of sets and styles, from R&B to Hip-Hop, Soul and Funk, while dabbling in Disco, Jazz, Pop, Reggae and House, has always kept Dj Trey one step ahead of the rest!

With a style that gives the crowd some of what they love, some of what they used to love and some of what they should love,
Dj Trey is ALWAYS Entertaining and Enlightening!

He likes to focus more on what he believes people should be listening to as opposed to what they ‘think’ they want to listen to, whilst ensuring they never leave the dance floor and return week after week wanting more!!

Dj Trey is a notable name on all soul/old school circuits and has gathered a large following of dedicated fans!
He has played around Australia, opening for some of the biggest international and local acts. He maintains several residencies in some of Sydney’s best night clubs and is the ‘go-to’ for VIP and celebrity events, fashion shows and corporate functions

Solotel 80’s Prom Party – The Bank Hotel Newtown

Solotel 80’s Prom Party
The Bank Hotel Newtown

We had a lot of fun with this event. We had a brief to create a space that transported the guests back to their 1980 school prom and graduation with entertainment and audio-visual split over 3 levels.

The Bank Hotel proved to be an excellent blank canvas.

The beer garden area turned into our nightclub area for the evening with a long truss rigged along the ceiling along with 22 disco balls of different sizes. These disco balls ranged from 8 inches right up to our one metre balls. We also rigged haze machines, bubble machines and pin spot lighting as well as a whole lot of 80’s coloured LED par cans to create the 80’s scene.

We created a main stage where various DJs performed along with Muma Megs and Haydn Walker on guitar. This was also used for the brief formalities and the crowning of the prom King and Queen.
